The Bluff PCI mine site is planning to undertake blasting activity on Saturday 14 November, in the morning, subject to weather and site conditions.
The blast is planned for the southern end of the mine site.
No road closures are expected for this blast. Please continue to observe all road signage and traffic controls in the vicinity of the mine, as traffic conditions may change.
Dust, noise, fume, blast vibration and environmental monitoring measures will be in place.
We won’t proceed with blasting if the weather is unfavourable.
While we’ve planned the blast for the above time window, it may be postponed up to 24 hours to make sure conditions are favourable. If the blast is postponed beyond 24 hours, we’ll let you know.
As always, risk assessments are in place, and an independent blasting expert will review our blast to monitor noise and vibration.
